Our facility

This is an aerial overview of Fero International's modular construction plant, the largest modular manufacturing facility in Canada. It shows a large manufacturing plant surrounded by parking lots with a vacant area to the rear of the facility.

We design and construct all of our volumetric modular buildings at our purpose-built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hamilton, Ontario.

300,000 square feet of modular innovation

Fully leveraging our 300,000-square-foot space, our facility’s automated processes and equipment allow us to produce high-quality buildings faster and more efficiently than traditional construction.

The overall size, layout and resources of the Fero manufacturing facility allows the team to run six assembly lines concurrently, when at full capacity.

Modules move along a line of workstations step-by-step, with each workstation equipped to perform a specific task, each adding to the final product. This process allows for skilled trades to concentrate on a smaller group of tasks, thereby contributing to overall better quality and efficiency.

Nearly limitless manufacturing

Surrounding our construction facility are eight acres of outdoor space with overflow, production and storage capacity. No matter the size of your job, we’re ready to turn it from a project brief into reality.

Certified for quality

Our facility and operations are certified to the following industry standards, ensuring everything we do meets the robust needs of our construction partners.

CSA A277

Certification for prefabricated buildings, modules and panels

CSA A660

Certification for steel building systems

CWB 47.1

Certification for fusion welding of steel

Wellbeing at the core
